Optician is very competent. Staff in shop friendly and helpful. Can someone explain why I got an e-mail from Boots saying that I had missed my appointment? I didn't miss it.

Jean the optician, was extremely competent at her job and when she spotted something untoward, she calmly explained what she was going to do. She was calm and friendly. I had the upmost trust of her. The only thing to improve was the waiting area which was small and poky and not really welcoming, which is a shame, as all shop assistants I came across in the store were.

i thought the optometrist was rather rushing my initial reading of the letters on the wall , and not giving my covered eye time to re-focus before continuing. when collecting my prescription, Rosie could not have been more helpful, and made sure that the glasses fitted well and were comfortable. well done.
